OUR ENDLESS OBSESSION WITH...
COCK is a play about John, who takes a break from his boyfriend, and accidentally meets the woman of his dreams. John is stuck grappling with self-identity, still deeply in love with both his partners. When he is forced to decide between his lovers he decides there's only one way to straighten it all out.
Climaxing at a dinner with both parties and the boyfriend's father, everyone wants to know: Who is John? What is he? And what will his decision be? Mike Bartlett's punchy play takes a lively, candid look at one man's sexuality and explores the ambivalence in love and human nature.

“I suspect it'll be a while before I see another piece as brilliant, as human, as frank, as devastating, as incisively, side-rendingly, gaspingly funny and as searingly and powerfully presented as the show currently on at the Off-Center, Theatre en Bloc's truly breathtaking production of COCK…”
“…an epic 100 minute face off that will have you leaning in… Bravo! See this one!”
“Great vision, great direction, great performances.”
“COCK is one of the most profoundly moving pieces of theatre I have ever seen. The questions this piece asks about self-identity are poignant and the performances and direction are stellar. You don’t want to miss this show.”
“Fantastic show. Tremendously talented cast. Captivating performances full of raw emotion and devastating visceral power. So happy to have had the privilege to experience this extraordinary work of living art. Brilliant work from everyone involved. Bravo.”
